Volunteerism is the driving force behind the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC). Our organization has become a successful and impactful national charity, which is not only the number one funder of IBD research in Canada, but also a world leader in the fight to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
The CCFC started out as a small group of volunteers, and today has grown into a network from coast to coast, as we all work towards a cure for IBD. We would not be able to do so without the passion, generosity and commitment of CCFC volunteers. Volunteers bring not only their spirit, but their strong connection to local communities and all types of people from across Canada. With 1 in 150 Canadians is living with IBD, everyone knows someone who is impacted by Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis whether it is themselves, a family member, friend or colleague.
Whether you are interested in fundraising or education and awareness; event day opportunities or long-term roles, the CCFC has a volunteer opportunity for almost everyone. While many volunteers are drawn to the CCFC because of a personal connection to IBD, there are also many opportunities for those looking to develop professional skills; connect to a new community; make a difference or try something new!
All together we can help find the cure! Join our team today!
