Saint John Chapter

For several years, Saint John, NB, was the only Maritime city without a CCFC chapter.  Until now!

"We've got guts!", says Cathy Robichaud CCFC Saint John Chapter Vice-President of Public Relations/Education.  "I am so proud of the newly appointed executive, and with Canadians having the highest incidence of Crohn's and Colitis in the world, it is the collective goal of (our group) to build a strong Greater Saint John chapter which will focus on education, building relationships and finding a cure!"

"We want to reach out, shake hands, and thank the people who run our businesses, mentor our students and lead our community all while living with this often debilitating disease," she said.

"Our chapter is committed to community-driven fundraising events and scientific research into finding a cure!"

Gutsy Bracelets

Each bracelet is designed and handcrafted in the Quispamsis, NB, studio of Krista Stackhouse, owner, president and designer of Cali Jewelry. Every bracelet boasts an original one-of-a-kind wire charm suspended from a clasp. This charm is in the shape of the CCFC's logo 'Gutsy' and reminds us of those who have been touched by this disease and helps raise awareness as we move towards a cure.

Cali jewelry is worn by many artists in the music and entertainment industry, such as Nelly Furtado, Fefe Dobson and the contestants from season 5 American Idol. Krista's pieces have also been featured in photo shoots for People and Good Housekeeping magazines. As well, several artists have sported her designs for red carpet and award show events.

Please call 1-506-648-9677, or 1-800-265-1101 or email tdurkee-jones@ccfc.ca to order one-of-a-kind, hand-made bracelets that will represent CCFC, $18 each. Nickel and lead free. All proceeds will fund medical research to find the cure.
