Still priced at $30 these books are a deal, and $9 of every sale goes to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. All That Glitters Kamloops Gala -  November 13th

The Kamloops Gala is back for the 3rd year!  Start the evening off by feasting on a hearty and authentic Italian spaghetti dinner, then work it off on the dance floor! The perfect combination of great food, music and entertainment, this event is not to be missed. Silent auction, 50/50 draw, balloon sales throughout the night!

Tickets are $50.00 and will be available in early October.

Victoria Giving For Gifts - November 25th @ The Strathcona Hotel

Come do your Christmas shopping early! This is an intimate, sparkly evening with entertainment, a live AND silent auction as well as trying your hand at our forever most popular Treasure Box. Tickets are $25 which includes appies, a cocktail, and a chance to win $200 cash. Event starts at 6pm, live auction at 7pm. Seating is limited. Advance tickets must be sold.

FUN DAY IN THE PARK - VICTORIA

A BIG thank you to everyone who came out and supported the 2nd Annual Fun Day in The Park! It was a HUGE success!!!!

 

 

The Heel 'n' Wheel-a-Thon is the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada's most energetic and fun fundraising event. We're proud to say taht This years events were a great success. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the 2010 Heel'n'Wheel at the following locations:Abbotsford, Surrey, Maple Ridge, Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and Kamloops. 

We're looking forward to anouther successful Heel'n'Wheel in June, 2011.

Victoria's Huge Garage Sale

Congratulations to the Victoria Chapter who hosted a HUGE Garage Sale at St. Aidan's United Church on April 17th. It was a HUGE success with just over $3,200 raised.


GEM Project

The GEM Project is a Canada-wide research study that will attempt to determine possible causes for Crohn's Disease by following healthy individuals who are at a higher risk for developing the disease over time. A total of 5,000 healthy individuals who have a sibling and/or parent with Crohn's Disease will join the effort to help find a cause. This is the first study of its kind to try and understand the complex genetic, environmental and microbial interactions within our own bodies.

If you have a full-sibling or parent that suffers from Crohn's Disease and are between the ages of 6 and 35, we invite you to participate. There are many recruitment centres in Canada, including:

Sponsored by the CCFC (Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada), we have monthly Discussion Groups across BC that help local people dealing with Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and IBD, share experiences, offer support, and make new friends.
