New! Ross McMaster Memorial Fund supports major research project on the integrative biology of inflammatory diseases

 

It has been a sad and difficult time since Ross died on February 24, 2009. His death has represented a significant loss to me, our three children, his brother, sister, parents and many friends and associates. He really was a unique and exceptional person and we miss him more than words can express.

Thanks to a generous donation from a Thomas Weisel Partners fundraiser on March 4, 2009, and donations from our friends and family, we are proud to have set up the Ross McMaster Memorial Fund for Crohn’s and Colitis research through the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. We know Ross would have been “all over this” as he was always one to want to make a difference and help others.

We will keep you posted via this web page about how the research dollars are being spent and any future fundraising opportunities that will be organized to keep Ross’s fund giving in perpetuity.
